I've always been one with a huge love for culture. & by culture I mean pretty much everything.
I love learning about religion, language and all the traditions of those who walk this very Earth with me.
I don't believe in living your life in a little corner where you're basically isolating yourself from everyone and everything.
I believe only the ignorant are the ones without a passion learning about everything we are not.
Everyday I find myself meeting people who are so into their own nationalist and patriot crap that they can't even see the beauty in other races surrounding them.
I honestly can't grip how somebody could want to live in this earth only having stayed in one country, having known one language and only socializing and mixing with "their own".
- It's so boring.
& I know I might sound a bit bias here because I am basically made up of all the races in the entire world. I am a melting pot in myself. But SERIOUSLY. I don't get it.
There is so much to learn
Having said all of that,
I myself are one of those who hasn't been fortunate enough to leave my birth country yet. I've been trying to get the hell out of Melbourne for almost 2 years now but it was never really a possibility with still being in school and not having enough funds etc.
It only really hit me how over Melbourne I am right now. The environment, the atmosphere, but most importantly, the people. But i'll save all of that for another post.
BUT luckily that's all about to change in a couple of months.
In the middle of February in shaa Allah (god willing) I and a few family members will be going on a well needed vacation....OUTSIDE of Australia.
First stop is BALI, INDONESIA. I'm so excited. It's pretty much all I talk about and can think about. We'll be there for a week which will leave us enough time to do all the touristy things yet still have a bit of down time. The temples are probably what I'm most excited about. They look absolutely beautiful and there's so many of them as well.
After the week in Bali we will jet to KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA. I always hear the shopping is amazing there. So much cheaper than Australia (apparently). I can't wait to stock up on all of the makeup!
It's also a Muslim country..meaning if not most, everything will be Halal. Malaysian food is also so nice but to actually be there eating authentic Malaysian will be so good. We'll be there for a week also.
& don't worry, I'll be updating my blog most likely daily while i'm gone to let you all know what i'm up to,
I stumbled across a quote called 'travel for art's sake'.. I absolutely love it. Hence why it's the title of this blog post lol.
I suggest anybody who's interested in travelling to check her page out also:
